Ending on a GREAT NOTE!!!

Well, our day didn't start out so well. Aside from the screaming/crying at drop off, we were late...not too late but I had to drop my van off to get it undercoated. So, in an effort to be early, DH took a left turn (where he shouldn't) and got a big fat ticket. :( I called in telling my boss I'd be late and ended up coming in just 5 mins late. The disappointing part was that $$ could have gone toward a visit to U.C. Baby. I really want to find out the sex of this baby...just for curiousity sake...and having sonogram pictures would be so great...but I couldn't justify spending the money when there are so many other good places it could go. And in an instant, poof, he wasted 165 bucks.

Anyway, this afternoon DH calls and says he wanted to give me a "congratulations mommy gift." :) (So funny!) We're going to see the baby this Friday!!!!! I am so, so, SO excited, I can't even tell you! I was in tears when he told me all about it. It is hard to justify since I will meet this baby in 2 months, but DH did work 10 hours OT last week...so I can live with that. :) We're getting a 1/2 hour session to see whatever we want and get 2 - 4x6 pictures. Plus for an extra $20, we can get a DVD copy of the entire session...yeah, we're getting that too!! (I think the baby senses my excitement cause he/she hasn't stopped kicking since I started this blog...hehehe.) I won't have Internet access in CB, but I will be making calls!!! Shay: expect to hear from me Friday afternoon and spread the news for me please. ;)

So, not a bad day after all, huh? The only trouble is remaining calm the next few days. I think I'll jump out of my skin!!!
