Gee but it's great to be back home!

Man, is it ever! E & I had an awesome trip in CB but it's so great being home in my own bed, in my own surroundings. E was very, VERY well behaved. Her and MJ (my nephew) got along swimmingly. It was like they were brother and sister. And it was so great bonding with my SIL Andrea. We spent every day together with the kids (and one night without). I also got nice visits in with family: Aunt Goldie (home from ON), Aunt Brenda and cousin Ashley (NB) and all the regulars down home.

The Hussey clan went out for a birthday dinner for Grampy Jack, celebrating his 89th birthday this year. There were 18 of us in all. The youngest being 2 months...little William...who will be my newest Godchild!!! So excited to have a god-son (along with my 2 darling god-daughters). Hmm...besides daily trips to the playground, A & I took E & MJ swimming (indoor pool), for ice cream (a few times), to their playgroup (lots of fun) and Canada Day Celebrations on the Boardwalk. Mom, A & I also went out for dinner and a movie (my treat for their birthdays). We had yummy Chinese at Huang's and saw Evan Almighty (very funny!). I got in all my favs...Tasty Treat cone (choc dip w/nuts), donair (from Nico's, my new fav spot), pizza turnover (Italian Village), and Joany's pizza...SOOO good!

We got back home very late Sunday night. Monday we were lazy but did manage to go out to the duck pond (on the way to Yorke Re-doubt). Then went to the Dingle (so amazing!!!). E had a ton of fun playing in the playground. It was hard to persuade her away for lunch...but the lure of French fries helped. :) We ate at Westcliff (corner of Bayers Road & Oxford). It's a little inconspicious dinner but it's amazing. Burgers, sandwiches, fries, onion rings...real healthy stuff. :) But the winning menu item is the milkshake!! Best ever, and a real bargain! Actually, all the prices are great and the folks who run the place are really sweet. After lunch, we went home for naps and caught up on house work.

Well, better get back at it. TTFN!

Oh no, missed you! I just got home from Port H on Sunday. SOOO nice to be home indeed!! Glad you had a nice vacay, though.

Will have to scan and email my latest progress, then we can discuss.

Talk to you later, my dear!
