Movie Night - Superbad
Overall...a funny movie. There was very slow points, and very hilarious points too. It reminded me a lot of my high school years and how foolish we were. The difference was the technology kids have now. It was a big eye opener of what's to come with my girlies...and by the time they're teenagers, it'll be even more advanced. I'd say it's more of a rental though...so save your bucks. We had passes to a premier and snuck in. Shhh...don't tell. :)
Afterwards, DH & I made a pit stop into Walmart. I bought wooden letters for E and wanted to get some for L. Well, I got 2 Ls at the Mumford location. No I or Y left. Same with Bayers Lake. If anyone happens to be in the Dart/Bedford stores and you see them, would you mind getting them for me? They're a buck a piece and I'll pay you back. They're just plain wooden letters with sticky tabs on the back. Much appreciated!!
I also wanted to run into Michael's too look at wallies. Oh...I may have forgot to mention, we're redoing L's room. Yes, yes, I know...we put a TON of work in the Dragon Tales characters. And I like them. However, now that I KNOW we're having a girl, I want to do a girly room. I am saving one wall though. The castle wall will stay put. And to work the theme in, I'm going to see about making it a princess room. DH's worried that E may be jealous and like L's room better than her own. I hope not...but things like that are unavoidable, wouldn't you say? My feeling is that if I keep her involved and ask for her help/praise her for helping, she may not get jealous. Thoughts??? Believe me, the last thing I want to do is make her feel like she's second best. She's my first born. And I think you always feel a little something special for your first. Am I right?
Anyway, I don't have plans for lunch but Michael's is a bit out of the way. We'll see if I get a chance. Also, I need to get more coffee before the week's out. Java, the place I go, is just around the corner. Hmmm...guess it's a toss up. Maybe I'll leave the Michael's trip till later, since I'd like DH's 2 cents. Well, I should skid-dattle. Hope your day goes well. Shay...we WILL get phone time soon, I'm sure. Mari...try not to get too discouraged about potty training...it'll come.

I'd like to believe that it will come but it's been MONTHS and it seems at times we're going backwards!!!! It's hard to take her anywhere - we're always cleaning messes. Very inconvenient.
In time, I'm sure, it has to happen before big school...right ;)
I'm sure E will be fine with the new room. I find it hard to comment on the first born thing since having a boy then a girl they both were 'firsts' - know what I mean :)
Good luck with all the room stuff. I think you are a little crazy for trying to take it on at this late date, but I know what the nesting is like and how sweet it'll be in the end. A princess theme sounds sweet. It is tricky when you are doing for 2 different ones and trying to make it "equal". We have that more with Mya and P than with M and P. And sometimes it is just a good lesson. E is young enough right now that I'm thinking it won't be too much of an issue at all.
I'll keep my eyes out for the letters. I've also seen them at the dollar store ...
