My amazing gal!

I can't believe how wonderful my little girl was yesterday. Not one complaint about not eating all day. She was very upset after the surgery until she knew we were going home. She cried her little heart out and I couldn't do anything to console her. Once she got in her stroller, she stopped crying immediately and was quiet the entire way home. When we got home, I gave her yogurt and some milk. A half hour later, we moved onto crackers. An hour after that, she had tomato soup, bread, milk, banana pudding and apple sauce. Not a bit of trouble at all! She did amazing!!

Today she's home with dear ol' dad, awaiting the arrival of the grandparents!! Mom & Dad are up for 3 weeks and I'm so excited!!! I missed dad last month when mom came solo. And he's missing E big time. It's been 5 months since he's seen her. And now she says "Poppy" and I imagine Dad is pretty pleased! I can't wait for him to hear her say it! So this weekend we'll be visiting and have no plans for much else. Mom & Dad are up for the Sobeys annual Quarter Century Club event tomorrow night. We'll drop them at the hotel and they'll get spoiled for the night. Then we'll pick them up Sunday a.m., do church and head home. Other than that, we'll probably watch some movies or something. Just lay low.
