Monday recap
What a fun, fun weekend!! My MIL & I met with a bunch of Curves gals on Friday night for Dr. Demartini's talk on The Secret. He was so passionate, so charismatic, I just loved and absorbed what he had to say. I just wish I had the whole lecture on tape to replay it. He was funny, he was teary-eyed, he was inspiring. He reminded me I have a mission, something to contribute to the world. I know what it is. I know what I need to do. I'm going to push away the fear and obstacles I placed in my path and move forward. I'm going to take action and do it. Last week (or so) I talked about better organizing my time to accomplish more in my life. Shay & I chatted about this on the weekend. I've decided that instead of giving each night a task, I'd plan out my week. That way if my plan doesn't go as scheduled, I won't get discouraged and say forget it!
Anyway, back to the weekend. Saturday was the usual clean up around the house, play outside with E...very fun..., and then the 3 of us went over to Shay & Mark's. The kiddies had fun playing while we got supper ready. The guys, God love them, watched the kids/played video games while Shay & I went to Sue (from Curves) for her birthday. Kareoke, corn bread and dip were on the menu...along with tons more food. We had such a blast...it was so fun...and funny. :) Shay & I left after midnight and found the guys (and kids) snoring away. E woke up early, again, so I got up with her so she wouldn't wake everyone. After we'all got up, I made pancakes...super yummy. The guys, God love them, took the kids to McD's playplace while Shay & I scrapped. By the time they got back, E was asleep. We slipped her into a playpen and she was out till 3 (so I got a lot done). We left for home shortly after E woke up. We had a quiet night getting ready for another big week at work/daycare. Although I wish I had just 1 more day to sleep in. :)
Tonight DH & I are going to see the premier for 300. Can't wait! It's nice to have a night out, just the 2 of us. :) So, hope you'll have a great day. TTFN!

Sounds like a great weekend. Good that you got out to attend so many fun/interesting things. I bet the talk was great on Fri. Wish I lived closer to take stuff like that in.
Hope the teething process is over soon and you get some sleep.
Yee haw!! It was a great wkend for us, glad you guys enjoyed it too. And so cute that E talked about the kids so much. I'm glad that she had fun.
And god love the guys is right, but I don't think they suffered much at all and had fun too :) Even better!
