DH the saint!
Yes, he should be sainted...or knighted...whatever, he definitely deserves it.
E has been having troubles at night. She's waking 2 and 3 times, crying, saying she's scared. He gets up with her each time, sometimes getting her out of her crib for milk and crackers. Last night he was up twice. He kindly turns off the monitor as to not disturb my sleep, which I truly appreciate these days. I'm so tired with this pregnancy. I can't remember being this bad with E...probably because now my sleep is disturbed while she's out the womb. :) Anyway, he's been such a trooper. And I'm sure it's not easy on him...not to mention still being out of work. He had one interview that was so promising but no result. He may drop in to see them tomorrow as he's coming in with me in the a.m. to run errands. I'm hoping this is God's way of delaying him so he can work on projects around the house.
I am so pleased with the progress he's made (and really, it's 99% him!!). This wknd, he's taking out the old "bath fitter" (not the brand, and it doesn't cover the tub, just the walls). We'll have to put new water board up since the adhesive will likely bring down the old. Then we're putting a new "fitter" up, doing patchwork and painting. I hope it turns out well. After the main bath, all that's left is painting (living room, kitchen, laundry room, computer room, MIL's room and ours). Oh, and decluttering the house and cleaning the garage. We'll probably get a storage space so it won't look so crowded in the garage. I can't believe we're getting so close to the end!!! Tonight I have an agent coming in for a walk through. We may hire him as well. We'll see how it goes.
Well, I better get back to work. So nice to read all your blogs!! Take care,
~B

I need some hints other than getting prego to get DH up at night ;) I think he has a shut off switch at night. Once his head hits the pillow, that's it! LOL, even when I pregnant with B he didn't get up. Having the first while being prego is tougher for sure. You can't do what you want when you want anymore. I must have been crazy - Cole was only 9 months when I got pregnant again!
Great that you're getting so much done with house. I watch those house selling shows sometimes (I know I'm a loser) and it's amazing the amount of work that goes into selling a house. Then when you move there is usually work you want to do at your new place! It's nuts! I wish you a speedy sale at your asking price or more :)
Brave Sir Jeffrey!!
That is so awesome - hope you tell him that too :) I'm sure you do!! I think I need to get you to project manage MY house. You are great at it!!!!
Good luck with the agent tonight. Meant to ask you what you thought about Assist 2 Sell. Think it is worth it? On a 100k house, your commission fees will be $5-7k that you have to pay out. That is soooooooo huge. With Assist it is only $2995.
YOu'd have to research and meet them etc to see if it is worth it, but man I'd be some tempted to say the $$$
Once you guys get done with your bath, you'll be old pros and can help us with ours - hehehe. We'll have to tackle it real soon!
Hope your new house has NO fix ups needed whatsoever :)
