My baby girl, not such a baby anymore!

Yesterday was E's first day in the Toddler room. My how the time flies!! I swear, she was just in the infant room. She's growing up too fast! Last night we tried her in a toddler bed. E's been having trouble sleeping in her room, saying she's scared of monsters. I narrowed it down to the tiny red lights on her stereo and sound machine. But she also seemed unsure about her crib. So I dragged in the frame from the garage, laid it beside the crib and let her choose. She chose the bed. She only fell out once (slid out I think). DH put my body pillow along side on the floor to help cushion any further falls. In the a.m., she was completely horizonal. :) So funny, so cute!

DH & I have run out of extra money so we're putting the rest of our household projects on hold, with the exception of E's room. We have no choice but to complete it so it'll get done. I already have the bedding. We'll use some furniture around the house (dresser/book shelf). The only major purchase is a twin bed and paint. I'll likely get enough to do the main bath as well (since we're going with the same colour). I may pick up some stick ons too, if I can find butterfly/flower ones close to the comforter set I bought. Then I'm shipping all her toys in there to declutter the living room...at least till the baby comes. Then we're back into swings, bouncy chairs and the like. :)
