Sunshine ROCKS!

There's nothing like seeing the sun to get you in a great mood. Even though it's been chilly, it's still beautiful. Everything is bright and alive and growing. Love, love, LOVE this time of year. I don't even mind it being 12-18 degrees...that's my comfort zone.

So, the rest of my wknd was great. E & I loaded up all the window boxes but 1. Gotta get the latter out. It's so nice seeing the flowers blooming. Yesterday MIL, the girls and I went to Superstore, then Bean Sprout and finally Fisherman's Market before we came home for lunch. So funny how some people are. A woman was looking at products and asked the guy behind the counter if this was Clearwater...he told her no...out the door she went. It's all in the name. I've been to both Clearwater and Fisherman's Market and found the people at FM more friendly and helpful. The smaller shop is more like your neighbourhood stop. Anyway, we a rich man's seafood chowder tonight. $48 for lobster, crab and scallops...we must be crazy! Really, it's in lieu of the M-day lobster we didn't get. Can't WAIT for a bowlful tonight.

Today I got our early with the gals. Dropped E off to daycare...both of us thrilled. :) L & I went to return the moon light...it was WAY too dim for a night light. While there I got princess cups and containers for E, soft nipple sippy cups, sleepers and short-onesies (there is a name for them but it escapes me) for L, and treated myself to a little something. My waist line isn't getting any smaller and it's really discouraging to me. I know I'm not doing all the work I need to be doing. I'm taking a break from calorie counting and just trying to eat better and get out more. Anyway, I got a pair of capris and a t-shirt. Maybe it will make me feel a bit better about the tight pants situation. UGH!

Well, I'm gonna run and finish up some chores...got the bathrooms done and laundry in the dryer/on the line. Just gotta load up the dishwasher and get lunch. Hope you all eat lunch in the sunshine!! TTFN!
