Happy New Year 09!

And boy, what a blast it's been so far! Snow storm and Rock Band at Shay's. We had such a good time. The kids were good, mostly. Had to play ref for a few disputes. But it was nothing really.

So, we headed around Shay's about 5-6 pm on NYE. Hunkered down, started drinking, and eating apps till they came out my ears!!! We landed in bed after 2 am and up again with kids (my kids) around 6:30??? I don't know how women are equipt to do such things, but I did it. Entertained the kids during the day, played more RB, watched the poor guys dig out the driveway, ate some more. As the weather reports were updating, I realized we weren't going anywhere. So, we hunkered down again for another night and thought it was a great idea to start drinking and playing RB again! What fun!! Midnight DH & I decide we have to go to bed, since we were working today. Up at 6 am with L. Scrambled around to get us out the door. Made calls to work to let them know we'd be late. And called the daycare to make sure they had power. DH & I still had to go home to get workboot and sneaks for work...and lunches. Anyway, we made it in, better late than never.
