Movie Night - 300

It was amazing!!

Just a 2 hour film...no epic dramatic drawn out movie...however over 1/2 of it was fighting. But that's what the movie was about. The back story was excellent. The love scene, passionate. The entirety of the picture was so, so, so beautifully shot. I'd definitely recommend it. But remember, it is violent. It's a war picture. If that's not your thing, don't bother seeing it.

After the movie, DH & I grabbed a bite at Hamachi (Sushi) House, Morris Street. It was so delicious! We spent a big chunk of change but it was really worth it. Their sushi is the best I've tasted. And the Eel Nigiri was the best I've ever had. It was like butter melting in your mouth! It was the last thing I ate, and as full as I was, I think I could've eaten 10 more pieces. :) It was so nice to get out and be like adults, and to connect with one another. Sometimes in the day to day life, DH & I don't get to really enjoy each other. Last night, my batteries were fully charged.

Speaking of DH, tonight he's in school...so it's Mama, Nana & E night. After E's in bed, I'm going to make some card invites. We've decided to have a St. Patty's Day Party next week. We'll eat traditional Irish food, drink traditional Irish drinks and enjoy each other company. Should be fun!! Well, hope y'all have a great day. TTFN!

Wahoo, yuumy food and it's always great to go to a movie and really enjoy it rather than just go and find it ho-hum. Makes it worthwhile...not that I would know ;) Last movie I went to was Happy Feet. I can't even remember the last adult one I saw b/w finding sitters and actually having a worthwhile movie to go to at our ONE theatre :)
