Title: Freaking Out!
(for some reason my title bar isn't working)

About 3 or 4 weeks ago, I ran into a guy I used to work with. He has his own business now and asked if I do any freelance work. I told him sure. Well he called today and wants me to help him write a proposal. YIKES!!! I haven't written one before so I'm freaking out! I don't want to screw it up. Basically, it's similar to our "Fullwell" system or T3P we use at work...which is done by the Sales reps. So I know what they're about and think I could write one. Just afraid it'll be over my head. Anyway, I'm hoping it comes together. Certainly we could use the money. I just need to stop stressing over it and feel more confident. Easier said than done.

The wknd was awesome. I am tired as hell from the long drive but it was worth it. Jason & Ray went all out with the party. There was tons of great food, drink and things to do. I only wish I got to enjoy more of it! I wasn't feeling well and was in bed most of the evening. But DH & E had a great time. E stayed up WAY passed her bedtime but slept in and woke up pleasant Sunday a.m. We also had really great visits with my aunt Brenda (and Uncle Richard, cousins Ashley & Allison). Oh, and their dogs too. E had great fun getting them to chase her around the living room. :) The drive home was great too. E & I watched 2 1/2 movies. No complaints from her at all. But it was nice to finally arrive home. I think we'll lay low this wknd. I've had enough travelling for now.

Sure sounds like you made a good impression on him when you were working together, if he has enough faith in you and your abilities to ask!

I do know what you mean, though. Pretty stressful taking on a new challenge like that. But you'll do great. Remember, you aren't in it alone, buddy will be working on it with you. You're sharing the pressure!

Sounds like you had a fun weekend--maybe not restful, but fun! :->

Sometimes, we're our own worst enemies. You are so creative and dedicated. Tons of talent. I know you can do this. And besides, you won't know if you can or can't till you try :) So good luck!!!
