Late post

Just got caught up with my work. Fortunately there wasn't too much pressing.

This morning's session was very good. It'll definitely be helpful, once I put it in practice. There are some issues I want to discuss with my supervisor. Just have to get the courage up to do so. Some days I find him very approachable and other days, not so much. I know I have to make the effort in order for our work relationship to be more productive. Food for thought.

My book project is moving forward. My cousin is working on illustrations for me. Mo sent me a draft this morning and they look great! They're playful and unpolished, which is what I'd like. I'm not looking for Picasso pics. :) Myrn gave me feedback on my 2nd draft and suggests expanding the story. I tried to keep it short but it's sacrificing the story. So when I get a free minute, I'm going to work on another draft.

Homelife is good. E has another ear infection (that's like the 3rd in 2 or 3 weeks). I left a message for the Clinic nurse at ENT. She returned my call with a message and suggested 4 days (vs. 2) of treatments. Hopefully, she'll kick the infection this time. If not, I'll call back for an appointment. MIL kept the monitor again last night so DH & I got another great sleep. I'll take the monitor back tonight since E didn't wake either nights. The build up in the ear likely was the cause of the waking nights. Now that it's draining, she's coming around. Even eating better. She's so fun. I don't mean to overly gush about my doll. I'm just amazed by her and the depth of love I have for her. I'll say it again, Motherhood is the best job I ever had. :)

Finished Season 2 of Grey's and feel sad that it's over. :( I'm going to see if I can download episodes of season 3 tonight while DH's out. He plays on the computer at night but he's going to a premier tonight (Shooter ... and MIL is going to Shark Water). I'll be home with E...just mama & daughter. It's nice having her to myself since I'm scrapping this wknd. It's busy though. But she's at the good age now. The most challenging thing will be getting her to bed ontime. Since the time change, she's been reluctant to go to bed at her usual time (7:30). Last 2 night I've put her down and she's cried. She usually never does. Hopefully tonight will be different.

Well, I better get back at it. Hope you have a great afternoon.

TTFN!
~B
