There's only so much COFFEE can do.
I had a "Mari" night last night...or should I say early, early, EARLY this morning. E decided at 3 a.m. was an acceptable time to wake up. I heard her talking, went to check on her and get the wide awake version of "HEL-lo mom-ME!". I tried to tell her it was still nightime/bedtime but I couldn't convince her. She stayed fairly quiet in her crib till 4:15 when she started doing her play scream. In an effort to not wake everyone up, I checked on her again. Thought some warm milk may help so I got that (she cried till she actually got it in hand). Went back to bed, waited to hear her settle and tried to get back to sleep...but couldn't b/c of DH's snoring. Got up, gingerly walked down the hall and curled up on the couch. 5:40 E started stirring again. I thought enough was enough and decided to get her up. Looked in on her and she's asleep. D!OH! Crawled back in with DH and had the best sleep all night (20 mins). Woke DH up and reset the alarm hoping/praying E would sleep till 7. 6:10 she decides to wake. What a night!!!!!
Went for coffee with MIL this a.m. and got the biggest one I could get. I think I'm going on fumes right now. I really hope my boss institutes mid day naps. Boy, could I use one. Anyway, nothing exciting going on at home. Did a mini cleanup of the kitchen last night in preparation for this Saturday's party. And got 2 episodes of Grey's in...supposed to be 1 but the cliffhanger ending made me watch the 2nd. :) Tonight my slate is clean so I'll try to hit the sack early. Well, hope you have a highly caffenated day...wait, that's me. Hope your day goes well.

Sorry to hear that you had such a rough night. That's tough. It sure does make for a LONG day. Hope tonight is better and there's a coffee supply if you need more :)
