Title: Chocolate Cake
Yes, something very deep to talk about. :) I can't help myself. One of the gals at work got Chocolate Cake for her b-day. Yummy!!!! I love chocolate cake. And chocolate icing is the only icing I care for...besides real cream cheese icing. So delish!!!! Food seems to be at the forefront for me these days. Yesterday I realized I didn't have enough snacks to get me through the day. I picked up pudding and granola bars to cover me for the day. Last night I made banana muffins and spider cookies (aka macaroons). Oh, interesting thing about the spider cookies. I had no butter so I used PB instead. SO GOOD!!! Try it! So, I'm well equipt but with the b-day comes a b-day lunch so I'm going. Dinner out sounds better than the hotdogs I brought. :)
And the cooking continues tonight. I'm going to make lasagna but we'll have to eat it tomorrow night...just takes too long to make. MIL may make meatloaf, or maybe hamburgers, with the rest of the meat. I'm up for either. I find it a delicate balance. I know I'm pregnant but I don't want to go overboard with the weight gain. I put a ceiling on what I'd like to gain and I'm 7 pounds away from it. I figure I'm half way through so that's probably do-able. We ate a lot of fast food in our travels. Not good, but it made me so sick of it, I could care less if I saw another french fry. I've also decided to do the 6 week solution on my own in January. If I plan well, cooking meals on the wknd while DH & MIL are home, I should do well. Plus, I'm going to keep my Curves membership and commit to going everyday when DH & MIL get home from work.
Well, lunch is coming soon...and I have to go to the pottie for the millionth time so I better go. TTFN!

You're making me hungry reading this!!! Yum, chocolate cake!! All I've been able to stomach is toast, rice and pasta :( When I'm feeling better I'll have to score some chocolate/sweets to make up for it!
Peanut butter instead of butter? Genius!!!
The macaroons do sound amazing!! Glad you have a plan - go for it!
