Opportunities to be patient

...and we're trying hard to practice patience. More developments on the financial front make you want to throw up your hands and scream give up. But I'm trying to step back and be patient. I won't forget the words of a wise priest from my family's church. He refered back to a story about Jesus teaching his disciples about patience/worry. Jesus pointed out some birds close by and said something like, 'Why do you worry? Even the birds do not worry about where their food comes from. Don't you know that the Lord will provide for you?' If you have strong faith, this rings so true. But you think in this day and age, with all the problems we have it may not hold water. Really though, it's true. It seems like we've kept our heads just above water for years now...but we always manage to stay afloat. Even now when it's up to our ears, we're still working on it.

Anyway, enough of that. At home, I'm working on patience with family. E has been easier the last week. She has her moments, and so do I, but it's coming. And we're all working on taking better care of ourselves. Eating right takes more work, but again, when we all pitch in and have patience, we're all better off. It's full circle really. All interconnected. And amazing.

Well, I better shove off. Have patience with yourself today, and with others. You may need the break.
