Manic Monday!!!!

Wow...busy day! The wknd was great, relaxing, entertaining. Friday night was low key. Can't even remember what we did (how sad). Sat a.m. we saw Harry Potter (awesome), picked up E's bed, and grabbed a bite before getting groceries. We brought the mattress in the house and E jumped on it for at least 2 hours...so funny!! That evening DH & I watched Failure to Launch (he loved it). Sun we went to church, home for lunch, napped and went to Enfield to visit DH's aunt. What a nice time...and really great to see them. It's a shame we don't get together more often.

So, last night my darling daughter woke me up TWICE sooking and wanting milk. For the third cry, I sent DH in and he got her back to sleep. Since I was tired, I slept in and skipped Curves. DH came in with me so it was nice having help dressing E and getting her bkft. She's getting upset with me leaving her at daycare. Today they asked her to "help" in the kitchen. She quickly said yes but when she realized that meant mommy was leaving, she started to ball. Thank goodness Darlene had the magic cure...the lure of Timbits! As soon as she offered it, the tears dried up and E quickly said, "Bye mama." Hilarous!

Today was a very busy/productive day. I wrote spots for the boss and got that taken care of for him (he's back tomorrow). And with Aug 1 coming, all the spots we run till "the end of the month" needed to be extended or get new material. I just wrapped all that up now. We're also working ahead with the long wknd. I can't wait for 3 days off!! We've decided not to go away camping. Instead we're staying at the Whitty Family Campground...okay, the backyard. ;) We have our own crude fire pit, a BBQ, and DH's going to set up the pool (it's big enough for adults and kids, hot tub size). I hope it doesn't rain. If so, we'll just move indoors.
