Sunshiny Thursday!

There's something about this sunshine that's helping me function better. I swear, the days I'm up and the sun's out, it's like magic dust. :) I digress.

Further to Mari's blog about kids getting up early, I'm suffering the same thing myself. It's made me decide to change my morning routine for E's (and my) benefit. If it's a Curves morning, I get up at 6, throw on my gym duds, eat bkft and then get E ready. This could mean dressing her while she's half asleep and protesting (although she's too tired to fight me, thankfully). Then I'm rushing her to eat or taking her bkft to daycare, dropping her off and running to get my 1/2 hour workout in so I'm not late for work. Although E's less crappy/cry-y when I drop her, it's still hard on both of us, and way stressful for me.

So, here's the new plan. Starting Friday, I'm going to Curves afterwork. That gives E more time to sleep and she's able to wake on her own. I can get a shower and ready for work without bringing my stuff to the gym. And we can enjoy bkft together. It's still a rush, but not a low key rush. And if DH comes in with me, even better. We trade off so each can get ready while one is handy for little miss. Plus, DH & MIL can pick E from daycare too so that relieves me from rushing after work. I think it's a win-win. The only deal is I like getting it over with in the morning. But really, I know it's better this way.

So, 2 paragraphs about workouts and routines...man I'm sad. I'll have to start making up some crazy stories to keep it interesting. ;) Tonight's TV night!!! HURRAY!! The triple threat: CSI, Survivor and Grey's. How blissful life can be! Well, I must go. Enjoy the sunshine and mix things up a little...could prove to be more interesting.

Hehehe your posts are so cute. Good luck with the new routine. I like moving and shaking things up.

Yay for Thursday night TV. Wish I had Tivo. Still haven't seen survivor this season.

It sure is nice out there!!!! Wahoo! Sounds like your new routine will work well. I just signed my sorry butt up for the gym myself. No chance that I'm getting in the morning so I'm going on the days mom and dad pick up C. I'll drop B off there too, they'll eat, I'll go work out and we'll all go home. Here's hoping it works! I get my refresher tomorrow. Wish me luck!
