Workin' for the Weekend

We must work 5 days/week so we'll appreciate the meer 2 day weekend. I had a ton of fun over the wknd. Made a cake with E on Saturday. Turned out beautifully...which is great since I haven't found a chocolate cake that I loved...till now. Then I turned it into a super triffle!!! Chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, cherry pie filling and whipped cream on top. It was a hit and I'll definitely make it again!!!

So Sat we went to Steve & Rhonda's...in our jammies!! We ordered in pizza, drank homemade wine/beer and had a blast playing on the Wii! The company was great. We had so much fun. And we ended up staying the night. Guess neither DH or I decided to be the DD. We both started drinking...and well, we stayed over. :) Sun a.m. S&R got up with their kids and E...THANKS SO MUCH! We had been up at midnight with L, 3 a.m. with E crying (she was fine) and again at 4 a.m. with L. S&R let us sleep in till 8 with L. Thank goodness! They had a big breakfast on the go...bacon, bologna, toast, eggs, even homemade hashbrowns!!! The kids had fun playing and we headed home around 11 to beat the storm. After the girls had lunch, and got tired out, they went down for naps and so did we. We were beat from being up half the night. But it was a good time.

So today I'm tired again (as usual). We got a call that L may have thrush again. UGH!! I swear it's the worst thing to get rid of. Anyway, she's down for a nap at daycare and they said if she's having a hard time this afternoon, they'll call DH to walk up and get her. DH is coming in town with me tomorrow and taking L into the on call dr. Hopefully she'll be fine but who knows. Well I'm gonna run. Hope your weekend was fun!!
