There's nothing sexy about Drizzle!
Mist, yeah, sort of. Rain, truly romantic. But drizzle fizzles.
Hard to be upbeat and energetic when the sun's not shining. I'm feeling really tired today, but it's half tired/half lazy. Nothing exciting to report. We had visitors yesterday...but we weren't at home. :( Jeannine and Adam, DH's cousins and I think Shay & fam?? Which I found weird b/c Shay knows we all work. Although yesterday's blog may have thrown them off. Jeff did get the afternoon off but it was around 2...so he dilly-dallied in town waiting for me to be off at 4:30 (since MIL had an appt. after work). Sorry we missed you!!! Would have been nice to see J, Shay & gang and meet A.
So, after my appt. with the nurse yesterday and the extensive conversation about nutrition, today I'm eating by the Canada's Food Guide. Man, when you hear about those high protein diets, you never realize how overboard they are!!! By CFG, women 31-50 should have only 2 servings of protein a day...and a serving is just 2 1/2 ounces!!!!! When I was on SFL, I had 4 oz/meal! The complete run down is online (something like healthcanada.com/foodguide). Basically, for my age group and sex, I get 7 veg & fruit, 6 grains, 2 dairy and 2 meat. And since I'm preggers, I get 3 more items of my choosing. It seems like not a lot of food, but I'm sure I'm overeating. Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes.
Well, I better shove off. Have a good one...and try to stay cheery in spite of the weather. :)

think drizzled chocolate...on who/whatever...that could be sexy. LOL, trying to suggest some thoughts other than rain. I think everyone is getting tired of it!!
We were all sooooooooooo sick of the rain too!!
I figured that you wouldn't be home when we dropped in. We were on our way to Peggy's Cove. So, we had to drive right by anyway. And thought it'd be worth a shot b/c of the aft. off and then they could see where you live and the cute little road.
Left a note so you'd at least know they were in town. You should have called later and we could've hooked up! Maybe next time ...
