Bundle up baby!

Wow…Mother Nature sure turned on the deep freeze. Yikes! It was really hard leaving the house this a.m. I wanted to say the hell with it and pull the covers over my head. We were out early this a.m. cause we took L in for a check up. She’s gained 2 pounds in 6 weeks but her length and head measures are the same. My Dr. put a referral in for the Pediatrician b/c she’s below the percentile for her head measurement. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. I believe it’s normal for her. Anyway, we’ll see. L’s getting close to walking…a few steps now and then. And one of her incisors is trying to break through. My goodness, she’s growing fast!

So, the wknd was great! Lots of fun with Doug & Sarah. Totally GAPPED on choir practice and voicemailed my apologies. Frig. Oh well, I really needed the sleep. We were up till 3 a.m. Sun morning. After my nap, I got some ambition and cleaned up around the house. We had laundry on the go, swept, organized, put stuff away. DH had a honkin’ list this morning. Hopefully he got along alright. Mom & Dad (Granny & Poppy) are on their way up/down/whatever. So glad to see them…and so is E. She can’t wait! Well, I better run. Hope you’re warm, wherever you are!
