Thank God for Family!

Sooo…last night was major excitement around our house. DH, Granny & Poppy picked up the gals from daycare. E looked at Daddy, then at Poppy…then ran to Poppy. She hadn’t expected them to get her so she was thrilled. For about 20 minutes, she talked no stop about anything and everything. By the time MIL & I got home, she simmered down a bit…but slipped in a few “look at me Poppy!!!!!”s. So cute! She just loves him to death though sometimes she’s shy around him. All the while, L just looked at G&P thinking “who the hell are you?” Before the night was out, she was cuddling with them.

While G&P are staying, DH’s on the couch and I’m in the recliner. L woke up around 4 but Granny got up to feed her, thank God! I fell back asleep and rested really well till I heard MIL leaving…thank goodness cause I set the alarm wrong and it didn’t go off. I was 15 minutes later getting up but both girls slept in till after 7!! I had to wake them up to be out the door by 7:30…more like 7:45 today. But I got to work on time so it’s all good. Pretty slow day today. I had a mild migraine this morning…nothing my happy pills couldn’t fix. :) DH & P came by work to pick me up for an early lunch before DH goes to the career counselor. I’m excited and nervous for him. I hope they can tell him/do something useful. He needs something good happen to him. I’ll keep you posted.
