Raise the Roof...it's Friday!!!!

How excited am I to enjoy this wknd...without any plans!!?? Well, no road trips at least. Tonight DH is going out with a guy from work who's leaving for Calgary in a few weeks. While he's out, E, MIL & I are having a movie night...E's choice. I'll make popcorn...should be fun. :) I was hoping to get together with Shay & fam Sat but not sure...haven't heard back. Then today I got 2 passes for Tall Ships for DH & I. Sat would be the ideal time to go so we'll see what happens. Since the weather will be nice, I'd like to do something outdoors with E. MIL has talked about doing a picnic for weeks. This would be the right time to do it! Maybe tomorrow a.m. I'll get groceries early and we'll pack a nice lunch for Point Pleasant...including peanuts for the squirrels.

Well, not much else exciting going on today. My work load is very light but we're doing a course through work and I have "homework" to do. The boss is away for the next 2 weeks so one of the guys and I will have a few extra duties...nothing complicated. I find I'm really mindful of time I miss at work for appointments. I don't have to make up the time, but feel like I'm being watched. With time off for E's appts. and now mine (which have increased a lot b/c of the pregancy), I feel it's even harder. It's not like I go to the appt and then shop for an hour. I come back promptly, but with travel and waiting times. Anyway, I have 2 appts. next week and feel really relaxed that I won't have someone to answer to. The guys are really laid back and could care less. It's a nice break for me.

I guess I better boogy. Hope y'all have an AWESOME wknd!
