The Rainy day blues...

...my soggy mood continues. Having some cheerful moments but over all, I wish I was home. My knee is bothering me along with feeling like I'm holding in a bowling ball. I think it's time to give up Curves till after the baby. If it's hard walking around, I shouldn't be trying to exercise. We'll see how it goes.

So to add to my soggy, sad day my childhood kitty had to be put down. Mom & dad have been caring for her since I left home for college. Mom was weepy and said neither her nor dad could say while they put her down. It's funny how close you get to a pet like that. Angel wasn't an easy kitty to care for...she had behavioural problems and wasn't a person-friendly cat. But she bonded really well with dad, and mom too. Good thing is I know she's not suffering anymore and now mom & dad have the freedom to come and go without worrying about her.

Anyway, I did have a few bright spots yesterday. I got a top to wear for family pictures...and it's not maternity. I think I can get away with it for the Christmas party too if I dress it up with a tank top and nice earrings/shoes. Plus I got 2 pairs of jeans for 14.99...BOGO!! Problem is I didn't try on the 2nd pair and they don't fit. :( Hopefully that'll change in the new year. I had a really nice bath last night too. E heard me when she finished her bath and wanted to come in but DH told her I needed some alone time. She said, "okay." How mature!! It was nice having that time. I think I'll make it a habit.

Well, better get going. Don't forget your umbrella's today!!

Sorry to hear those blues are still with ya and about your cat. This weather doesn't help but the thoughts of holding Lily soon should! Won't be long now. Enjoy all the tub time you can between now and then!

Oh, so sorry to hear about Angel! Poor little cutey, she had a lot of healthy years, though.

Hope you feel better--agreed, though, the weather really has to stop being so dang dreary!
