Snow Day???

So we may have an impending snow day. Would be so nice! Today the girls are home for a fun day with Granny, Poppy & Daddy…Nana’s home sick too. I wish I was home with them…boo hoo! Guess someone has to bring home the bacon…and pb, and coffee cream. Yeah, gotta run to the grocery store at lunch, and Cdn Tire for sand! Our driveway is really bad and has been since the last storm. A sheet of ice! I’m afraid someone’s gonna fall…and we’ve got extra bodies around too. So with any luck, the weather will get bad, they’ll send us home early and I can veg with everyone. Just called home and Mom & Dad are gone out with friends. Keeping the gals home was a good idea in theory…but we knew M&D might be going so no biggy. Now they’ll have a fun day with Daddy.

Speaking of which, he had a really long appt with the career counselor yesterday. Like 3 hours. She gave him some “homework” to do…researching what it is he wants to do. He didn’t get around to it last night and today he’s busy with the kids. Hopefully tonight he’ll get to work on it. The lady also told him that he’d have to put an application in for education and that he’d be a good candidate where he’s young and they’ll get a better “return on investment” from him. In some cases, they will pay a portion of their education and EI…which would be a huge help and weight lifted off us! So, there’s a bright light shining ahead. Just have to keep working and praying on it.
